Dress code for NEET 2021:

For NEET 2021 applicants, the administration has developed a dress code that must be obeyed by both male and female applicants. Candidates who choose to take the exam in their regular clothes will get additional instructions in the information bulletin. In order to assist the test organising body with security checks, candidates must ensure that they do not bring anything prohibited into the NEET 2021 exam centre. For the year 2021, the NEET dress code for male and female applicants is stated below.

NEET 2021 dress code for male candidates

• Male applicants must wear half-sleeve shirts/T-shirts on the day of the test, as full-sleeve shirts are not authorised, according to the NEET dress code.

• Male candidates should wear light clothes with no zip pockets, pockets, large buttons, or clothing with a lot of embroidery.

• The suggested NEET dress code 2021 for male applicants is simple slacks and plain trousers.

• Shoes are not permitted within the examination hall, and kurta pyjamas are not authorised. Sandals or chappals with a thin sole are recommended for candidates.

NEET 2021 dress code for female candidates

• The NEET dress code for female candidates 2021, as stated by NTA, prohibits dresses with excessive embroidery, flowers, brooches, or buttons.

• No apparel with full arm-length sleeves should be worn on the day of the inspection. According to the NEET 2021 dress code, female candidates must wear half-sleeved apparel.

• Women are not permitted to wear jeans with large pockets or that are stylish, according to the NTA NEET dress code. As a result, female candidates should avoid wearing jeans on the day of the NEET 2021 examination.

• Sandals or slippers should be worn instead of high heels and heavy-soled shoes. Shoes with a low heel are also permissible.

• Female applicants are not permitted to wear earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, or anklets. Metal detectors may cause undue inconvenience if the metal is discovered on the person.

NEET Dress Code 2021 exceptions:

Candidates who are unable to follow the NEET 2021 dress code due to religious beliefs must indicate this on the application form. These applicants must select the "Customary Dress" option on the NEET application form 2021. Those who choose to dress traditionally should arrive at least an hour ahead of time to ensure proper frisking and security.
